May 28th to May 31st, 2019, from Monday to Friday at 9–12
The course is suitable for persons who have reached the skill level A2.1 (on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR). You are already able to describe yourself and your life. You can tell about your work, family, interests, or studies, but “real” conversations feel challenging, and following general topics in spoken and written Finnish may not always be easy. On this course, we will practise everyday language situations. We will also have interesting discussions and practise communicating in Finnish.
We will study Finnish on skill level A2. We will revise and deepen the grammar required for fluent basic level skills. Another aim is to increase the participants’ language usage and conversation skills.
We will focus on practising oral skills and speaking, including colloquial Finnish. We will also learn more about ways to present your opinions and study interesting articles, news, and other media texts, which will be used as the basis of conversations.
The course is intensive and students are required to be active both in class and at home.
Active and regular participation on the lessons, and the oral course exam. In order to get the full certificate, participants need to pass the course exam. Evaluation: Pass/Fail.
