You have entered the heart of Finnish art! You will see marvelous artworks from one of the greatest private art collections in the Nordic countries including the famous artists from the Finnish Golden Age of Art, e.g. Schjerfbeck and Gallen-Kallela. The secret of Finnish character will be revealed to you through these paintings all Finns love. You will also sense the pulse of contemporary art in our various exhibitions. The patron Serlachius’ old residence, the Manor, and the museum’s new extension, the Pavilion, are also worth visiting in themselves. The Pavilion is an internationally awarded masterpiece of wood architecture.

You will also have a possibility to take a walking tour beside the beautiful lakeside landscape. Enjoy some fresh air and the tranquility of Finnish nature! If you have never tried Nordic walking, now is your chance. After the memorable art tour and refreshing walking it is time to indulge in the pure tastes of Restaurant Gösta. “Natural cuisine!” as Chef de cuisine Henry Tikkanen describes his restaurant. Hyvää ruokahalua! Bon appétit!
