Online enrolment\u200b<\/h1>\n

Enrol on courses by final enrolment date mentioned in the course description.\u00a0The enrolment is always binding.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note!<\/strong>\u00a0If you come from a country whose citizens are required to hold a visa in order to travel to Finland, you need to acquire a visa\u00a0before enrolling on our courses<\/strong>. For more information, please see\u00a0Finnish language courses section<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The course fee is paid during the enrolment. The fee can be paid via any Finnish online bank service, with a credit card, or by using a mobile payment system. When paying by a credit card, please enter the card number without spaces.<\/p>\n

The course fee can also be paid by an employer or another party, which means that the course fee is charged with an invoice.\u00a0 Fill in the billing information under the Company billing.<\/p>\n

If the course is already full, it is possible to enrol on the waiting list. If there are cancellations and places become available, we will contact the persons on the waiting list. If they accept a place, the course fee will be charged with an invoice.<\/p>\n

After enrolment, you will receive a confirmation by email, so please make sure that you enter your email address correctly.<\/p>\n

Course information is subject to change<\/h3>\n

Tampere Summer University reserves the right to make changes to the course programme.<\/p>\n

If a course is cancelled, participants are generally notified after the enrolment has ended (the date is mentioned in the course description). Before the course begins, each participant will get a welcoming letter or be notified that the course has been cancelled.<\/p>\n

Courses may be rescheduled if necessary.<\/p>\n

Right to study<\/h3>\n

The courses of Tampere Summer University are open for everyone, and we organise education around the year. Everyone who has enrolled on a course and has paid the applicable course fee has the right to study at the summer university, regardless of age and previous studies. Any prerequisites, such as exams or other requirements, will be clearly indicated in the course description. If the number of participants is restricted, students are generally enrolled in the order of registration.<\/p>\n

The enrolment is binding. The course fee is not tied to study attainments; it is a payment for a limited-term right to study. The course fee entitles the student to participate in the studies on a given time, and the enrolment cannot be automatically transferred, for example, to another group.<\/p>\n

Before enrolling, students are expected to assess that the course or studies are suitable for them. If previous studies are required, students are expected to make sure that they have completed the previous studies before enrolment.<\/p>\n

Students with special needs<\/h3>\n

If you need special arrangements in order to take part in a course or an exam, please contact our office by phone or by email in advance. We will help with the arrangements to our best ability.<\/p>\n
