Cancellation terms are the following unless otherwise stated in the course description:<\/strong><\/p>\nIf the enrolment is cancelled two weeks or more before the beginning of a course or study module, the course fee minus the administrative costs of \u20ac20 will be refunded to the payer. The \u20ac20 fee will be charged even if the course fee was not paid during the enrolment.<\/p>\n
If the cancellation is submitted later than two weeks before the beginning of the course, or the cancellation is not submitted at all and the student does not attend the classes, the course fee will be charged in full (online payment will not be refunded or an invoice for the full course fee will be sent to the participant). If the participant has enrolled in a study module, and cancels or discontinues studies, the fees of the remaining study units will not be refunded.<\/p>\n
These terms are valid also in a situation where the participant discontinues a course or a study programme.<\/p>\n
If you become ill, contact the Summer University<\/strong>.<\/p>\nTampere Summer University is not responsible for the operation of students’ hardware or software. The course fee will not be returned, if a participant cannot attend the online lessons because of individual connection problems or other technical problems.<\/p>\n
If you cannot attend the course, someone else can take your place. If the student has enrolled in a study module, the participant of an individual study unit cannot be changed.<\/p>\n
The enrolment will not be voided even if you do not pay the course fee.<\/strong>\u00a0Course fees are collectible (Law No. 706\/2007). If your employer has agreed to pay the fee, but fails to make the payment, the fee will be collected from you.<\/p>\nIf the course fee has already been paid, and the course or study module is cancelled (few enrolments, the teacher is prevented from teaching, or for other reasons), the fee will be refunded to the payer\u2019s bank account in full.<\/p>\n
Tampere Summer University reserves the right to change the programme.<\/p>\n
