Turkish 2 (distance learning)

Time

Online course 4.8.–3.9.2025 on Mondays and Wednesdays at 18.00–20.30

We will use Zoom and Moodle platforms on the courses. To participate, you will need a computer with a reliable internet connection, a microphone, and a camera. More information about the platforms will be sent by email approximately 1 week before the 1st lesson.

Target group

Turkish 2 is continuation for Turkish 1. The course is suitable for you if you have studied Turkish for approximately 30 lessons. The starting level is A1. 

Objectives

Target skill level A1 (on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR)

After completing the course, participants

• can discuss relationships and their immediate environment
• understand simple questions and instructions
  can describe their immediate environment and people

Contents

We continue studying from where Turkish 1 ends. 

Grammar and structures learnt on the course: possessive suffixes, future tense, past tense, and noun clauses

Vocabulary: neighbourhood, time, transportation, directions, money, and weather

Languages of tuition are English and Finnish.

Modes of study

The course consists of 30 lessons (à 45 min.) as well as independent work. To pass the course, participants are expected to attend the lessons regularly and study also independently.

If we use a textbook, it will not be included in the course fee.

Early bird discount

You will get the early bird discount of 10 € when you enrol on the course by 23.4.2025 and pay the course fee online after filling in the enrolment form. After 23.4. the course fee will be 120 euros.
