Online 9.9.-2.12. 2025 on Tuesdays at 17:00-19:00 (no lesson on 14.10.)

The Moodle learning environment and Zoom system are used in the teaching. Students must have a good internet connection, microphone and camera.

Description

The course is suitable for those who want to strengthen their current skills and learn new ones. The new book Speakout B1+ 3rd edition, which focuses on practical language skills, offers 100% new content, a completely new look and modern learning materials. The material includes plenty of listening exercises and videos. You can also do more exercises independently at home.

You can participate in the online course at home or anywhere. You will also get to know other course participants through pair and small group discussions. New, inspiring topics will be covered: minimalism, good and bad habits, emotions, scams and fake friends. As well as traditional, always important topics: personal life, home and living, relationships, nature and the environment.

New BBC videos, street polls and video blogs expose students to real English as it is spoken around the world.

The course is based on the Global Scale of English, which sets clear objectives for each lesson. Note: The course includes homework every week.

The book is not included in the course fee.

Scope

40 lessons (45 minutes each), of which 35 hours on Zoom and 5 hours of self-study (minimum about 25 min /week, but you may need to use more time)

Early bird discount 

You will get an early bird discount of EUR10 when you enrol on this course by 14.8.2025 and pay the course fee online after filling in the enrolment form. After 15.8. the course fee will be 145 euros.
