Give the gift of learning!
A gift card from Tampere Summer University is a timeless and versatile present, suitable for students, professionals developing their skills or anyone looking for a new hobby. The gift card can be used for all Tampere Summer University courses – the recipient gets the freedom to choose the studies that best suit them.
Please note that the gift card is currently available in Finnish only.
The gift card entitles the holder to a discount corresponding to its value on the course fee. If the course fee is less than the value of the gift card, the remaining balance can be used for the next purchase. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash. If a course purchased with a gift card is cancelled, the value of the gift card will be returned.
The gift card is valid for two (2) years from the date of purchase.
Instructions for purchasing an electronic gift card:
- Click the green Register button on this page and select the desired value of the gift card (25 €, 50 €, 100 € or 150 €).
- Enter your own email address in the Email field. If you wish, you can forward the electronic gift card by email directly to the recipient.
- Pay for the gift card online by following the instructions in the shopping cart.
- The Tampere Summer University staff will process your purchase and send the gift card to your email no later than the following business day.
Instructions for using the gift card (also printed on the gift card):
- From the Tampere Summer University website (www.tampereenkesayliopisto.fi) choose the course or study module you wish to attend.
- Enroll by clicking the green Enroll-button in the course description and fill in your details.
- Enter the code from the gift card into the field "I have a discount code". Click "Check the code", and the gift card value will be deducted from the total amount.
- Submit your registration. If the course fee is greater than the value of the gift card, pay the remaining balance online as instructed in the shopping cart. If the gift card covers the full participation fee, you can now close your browser.
- You will receive more detailed course information by email before your studies begin.
