Improve your spoken English on level B2!

Time

Online course 19.5.–25.6.2026 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 17.00–18.30

NOTE! On week 25, the lessons are held on Tue 16.6. and Wed 17.6.

We will use Zoom and Moodle platforms on the course. To participate, you will need a computer with a reliable internet connection, a microphone, and a camera. More information will be sent by email approximately a week before the first lesson.

Target group

Improve Your Communication Skills is suitable for upper-intermediate English learners (B2 level) who want to improve their spoken English. The aim is to increase fluency, accuracy and complexity of interactive communication skills.

The course is also suitable for those who have taken a similar course before (new material).

Objectives

By the end of the course you will:

• be able to communicate in English more precisely, efficiently and elaborately
• have been challenged to communicate on controversial topics and be able to talk about subjects in more depth
• have improved your confidence in communicating and discussing more effectively
• have learnt new vocabulary on a variety of themes.

Contents

A range of different themes will be covered and learners will practise expressing their opinions effectively. Students will also look at different grammatical structures, learn and practise new vocabulary, idioms and phrasal verbs.

Modes of study

Active and regular attendance. There will be no end of course test.

The course consists of 24 lessons (à 45 minutes) as well as independent work.

We will use new material, so the course is also suitable for those who have taken a similar course earlier.

Early bird discount

You will get an early bird discount of 10 € when you enrol on the course on 26.4.2026 at the latest and pay the course fee online after filling in the enrolment form. The discount is already included in the course fee. Starting on 27.4., the course fee will be 110 €.
